Certificates:
IKO certificaat:
After completion of the 2 day kitesurfing lesson, you receive an official IKO certificate level 2. Which allows you to rent kitesurfing gear worldwide at each IKO center.

Security:
Kitesurfing is not a dangerous sport, but kitesurfing kites can punish ignorance and inexperience, very fast! <br />
For this reason we place security in our lessons upfront. After the kitesurfinglessons you will have all the knowledge about safety you need and be able to practice kitesurfing in a safe way.

Lack of wind or strange weather:
When the wind is less then 3 beaufort ( <7 knots) or more then 6 beaufort (> 27 knots) the lessons are postponed and we make another appointment.
Also when gales or thunder is predicted, we postpone the lessons.
Because our kitesurfingschool is located on the seaside and the bay has very good winds , we are one of the best places in Holland for watersports, so the changes are stacked in our favor.
2 days before the kitesurfing lesson takes place we send you a text message on your mobile phone, in this way we can take the weather prediction on short notice into the equation.

1 DAY KITESURFING LESSON

€ 105 euros (including all material, excluding wetsuit)

Drawing from our long experience, we have developed a unique, rapid and highly successful teaching method. We teach you the theory by providing you the important stuff in a manual and a dvd for selfstudy and we concentrate all our time on teaching you the basisc of kitesurfing.
If you want to know what kitesurfing is all about the 1 day course is perfekt for you.
We teach you steering a kite on the land and take you out on the water quickly with a kitesurfing kite and a board, so the pace will be fast and your learningcurve also.The 1 day kitesurfing course thus gives a complete picture of kitesurfing and the main practical skills are presented and practised.

What do you learn in this course?
- all about safety and what you should do during kitesurfing.
- steering, starting and landing a kitesurfkite
- building up a kitesurfing kite and breaking it down.
- letting the kite pull you through the water (bodydragging).
- how to use the kite to get on a board and sail a few meters.

Schedule 1st day:up - We meet you in hotel het wapen van Marion in Oostvoorne.
- We give you a theorybook and dvd for selfstudy.
- We go to the parking of the beach of Oostvoorne and get into our gear.Then we walk to the beach for the start of the lesson.
- We teach you the basics of flying a kite: the windwindow, powerzone, neutral zone, starting and landing a kite, flightpath of a kite during sailing and during a waterstart, your bodymovements during a waterstart.
- Rigging a kitesurfkite.
Waterpart
- Steering, powering and depowering a kitesurfing kite.
- Exercises for kitecontrol with a kitesurfkite.
- Bodydragging behind your kite.
- Trying a waterstart with a kite and a board.

The 1 day kitesurfing lesson is given in groups of 2 to 3 students per kitesurfing instructor. Learning in a group is ideal and accelerates the learning curve, you can learn alot by looking and the comments of the instructor while someone from your group is handling the kite and trying something.
Our experience is that people learn faster this way then in privat lessons !
